Scott Brimigion

I was born in Schenectady NY. My father accepted a job as the World Treasurer for the Methodist Church. We moved to White Plains Ny when I was five years old. Between the features of my father and mother by the time I was in my late teens I started to resemble James Dean. I really didn't know it and I didn't really know who James Dean was. When I was in my late teens and early twenties I became a professional Model in New York City. When I was I Europe. I was booked to do work with the leather collection for Goirgio Armani. The Photographer told me that I looked like James Dean and could  project that look for the camera. From that point on I was hooked. I started to study everything I could about James Dean. When I returned to New York I started doing photographs with the attitude that Jimmy projected. Then there was an article in the New York Post and the Daily News about a contest for people who thought that they looked like James Dean. The rest is history. I have been blessed to have appeared all these years.  The best thing that ever did in my career was to help Marcus Windslow, James Dean's cousin, to unveil the James Dean Stamp for the United States Post Office. I have always been proud to try to represent Jimmy with the respect he so deserves.
